Love love love

"Well, our song? Our song must be 'Ihre Persönliche Glücksmelodie' by Gabriel Ananda, the Dominik Eulberg remix of course! On Karmarouge. Man, when we hear that - our hearts melt, we think of love, we think of each other, we even almost think of marriage. That's how sweet and precious our song is to us"

(Riton & Heidi, a couple and a production team, when asked about what their song would be)

I can relate 100%.
This is the record I want to be played at my funeral.
No record encapsulates what it's like to be young and vibrant and completely off your rock in a club more.
So much love, indeed.

little disclaimer: it was actually a joke :)

i just thought it's funny that a DJ couple have their 'own song' like all couples do. usually its an emotional, boring tune (which can be great and effective), a sting song perhaps - but i thought it'd be funny if their own song was a long-titled minimal one :)

regardless of that, i totally agree with you and its a WONDERFUL track indeed - powerful and vibrant as you said.

i want the whole of 'the au harem d'archimede' played at my funeral. really make the fuckers suffer. then, for all those good/hardy/brave/stupid enough to still be around by the album's end, 'man with guitar' by man with guitar. then 'sultans of swing'. i think. i hope (for my mourners' sakes) i never die.

there are house tunes, usually old, like 'sweet harmony', 'i feel love' etc which many have couples have claimed as 'our song'. Before I realized you were joking, I did think, yeah, i can see why 'Ihre...' might be that kind of song....As opposed to, say, '25 bitches'.
i don't know why i'm still writing. just drank a gallon of coffee. er, "No record encapsulates what it's like to be young and vibrant and completely off your rock in a club more". For me, that record is Holden's mix of 'The Sky Was Pink'. Right. I'll shut the fuck up now. Thanks, tal, for the tracks in the above post - corkers all!
